Duck is one of the most delicious item. And if you can cook it well, the taste becomes awesome. Today we will check the duck cooking recipe. Let’s start our journey.

Duck chopped meat- 1.5 kg
Ginger paste- 2 tbsp
Garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Cumin powder- 2 tbsp
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder- 1 tbsp
Chili powder- 2 tbsp
Salt- 1 tbsp
Edible oil- 1/2 cup
Onion- 1/2 cup
Cooking of duck takes a bit time. So, we have set it into two steps. In the first step, we will show the preparation. And the second step will lead to the cooking process.
Take the meat and mix all the ingredients. Marinate them for the next 30 minutes. Make sure the spices get inside the meat. Place a pan on the stove and fry the hot spice for a few minutes.
Pour half cup of mustard oil on the pan. Now, place the hot spices on the oil. Add a cup of onion slices on the pan. Stir them together. Ensure the onions get a brown color.
Now, add the marinated duck on this mixture and mix the duck with the onions perfectly. Add half spoon salt and stir again. Cover the ingredients and cook for around one hour in light heat. Remember to stir the meat a couple of times during this one hour.
In this process, the duck meat will get softer and the spices will entire into the meat. After one hour, the oil will rise up and the water will get dry. Now, add two cups of hot water on the pan. Stir the ingredients. Cover the pan, reduce the heat, and cook for the next one hour.
After the hour, add the fried cumin powder. Also, do not forget to add some fried onions. Stir them. And keep the stove on for next 15 minutes. Your duck curry cooking is complete! Serve it with polao or hotchpotch.
